Peyton, Guy. Guy Peyton was created by Norman A. Daniels (The Black Bat (II), Scott Cameron, Candid Camera Kid, Dan Clark, Crimson Mask, John Doe (II), Dynamite Dolan, Stephen Duane, The Eagle (III), Masked Detective, Renouf, Skipper, Val Stewart) and appeared in five stories in Gold Seal Detective from 1935 to 1936, beginning with “Hell-Ship Doom” (Gold Seal Detective, Dec. 1935).

Lieutenant Guy Peyton and his partner “Slugger” Brady are the “Crime Busters,” a pair of hard-bitten, two-fisted policemen who track down murderous scum and deal with them–hard.
