Nevada, Dr. Dr. Nevada was created by “Arnold G. Davis,” the pseudonym of Alec G. Pearson (El Caballero, Captain Montana, Stanley Dare, Doctor Duval, Frank Ferret, Royston Gower, Dr. Messina) and appeared in a number of stories in Pluck from 1905 to 1907, beginning with “Under the Black Seal” (Pluck #531, 1905).
Dr. Nevada is a “scientist by repute, and investigator of mysteries by choice.” Thought by some to be in league with the Evil One, and the dedicated (sometimes ruthless) enemy of wrongdoers around the world, Dr. Nevada is known and feared by criminals and wicked men wherever he goes.
