Dare, Stanley. Stanley Dare was created by Alec G. Pearson (El Caballero, Captain Montana, Doctor Duval, Frank Ferret, Royston Gower, Dr. Messina, Dr. Nevada) and appeared in a number of stories in Pluck, Boys Herald, and Marvel from 1906 to 1907.

Stanley Dare is “the boy detective.” He lives in London with a housekeeper; his closest friend is the elderly Professor MacAndrew. Dare is particularly skilled at disguise.
