Dupont, M. M. Dupont was created by the French creator José Moselli (Browning and Co., Marcel Dunot, Jean Flair, Iko Térouka, Fédor Ivanovitch Sarraskine, John Strobbins, Baron Cesare Stromboli, Jack Temple, Wasili Tchorok, Andreas Vollmer) and appeared in Le Cri Cri #855-976 (Feb 14, 1935-June 10, 1937).

M. Dupont is a consulting detective modeled on Hercule Poirot. Dupont is “the Celebrated Detective,” and travels the world, from Dublin to Sierra Leone, in pursuit of cases, and fights a variety of ordinary criminals as well as things like African secret societies. He has a faithful African assistant named Koufo.
