Tchorok, Wasili. Wasili Tchorok was created by the French author José Moselli (Browning and Co., Marcel Dunot, M. Dupont, Jean Flair, Iko Térouka, Fédor Ivanovitch Sarraskine, John Strobbins, Baron Cesare Stromboli, Jack Temple, Andreas Vollmer) and appeared in the serial “L'Ile des Hommes Bleus” (L’Épatant #66-92, Dec. 1, 1938-June 1, 1939).

Wasili Tchorok is a millionaire who uses the knowledge and skill of the scientist Antoine Chantour to build a giant city which orbits the Earth in a geostationary orbit. The "blue men" of the story's title are surgically modified by Chantour to breathe in the thin air of the city's orbit.
