West, Roger. Roger West was created by John Creasey (The Baron, Sexton Blake, Patrick Dawlish, Department Z, Dixon Hawke, The Liberator, Bruce Murdoch, Doctor Palfrey, The Toff) and appeared in forty-three novels from 1942 to 1978, beginning with Inspector West Takes Charge.

Roger West is a Scotland Yard policeman who deals primarily with the London underworld, although his cases occasionally involve international crime and espionage.
