Vanishing Rider. The Vanishing Rider was created by Val Cleveland, George H. Plympton (Jack Holt (II), Lothel, Masked Marvel, Doctor Miller, Phantom Rider, Wild Boy, Zara), and William Lord Wright (Angus Blake) and appeared in the film serial The Vanishing Rider (1928).

The Vanishing Rider is a Costumed Avenger. Jim Davis, U.S. government agent, is assigned to capture the Butch Bradley gang. Davis does so by dressing up as the masked Vanishing Rider and first stealing their stolen gold and then bringing them in.
