Tiger Shark. The Tiger Shark was created by Barney Sarecky (James Brewster, Tom Morgan, Three Musketeers (I), Wild Boy) and Sherman Lowe (Professor Ernst) and appeared in the film serial The Fighting Marines (1935).

The Marines are building an airstrip on Halfway Island, somewhere in the South Pacific. Unfortunately, Halfway Island is already the location of the secret cave headquarters of the masked criminal mastermind, the Tiger Shark. The Tiger Shark begins kidnaping Marines, and then, when he finds out that the Marines have a new, technologically advanced “gyrocompass,” the Tiger Shark tries to get that as well.
