Gray, Gordon. Gordon Gray was created by “Maxwell Scott,” the pseudonym of John Staniforth (Martin Dale, Kenyon Ford, Nelson Lee, Vernon Read, Jimmy Readman), and appeared in a number of stories in a number of story papers from 1895? to at least 1921.
Gordon Gray is a Great Detective. He has chambers in Holborn to which he never returns until he solves a case. On occasion he teams up with Nelson Lee.
