Leigh, Selston. Selston Leigh was created by Stacey Blake (Captain Christmas, John Silver) and appeared in seven stories in Crusoe Magazine from 1924 to 1926, beginning with “When East Met West” (Crusoe Magazine, June 1924).
Selston Leigh is the cadaverous and physically unattractive star reporter for the London Daily Gazette. He has something of the manner of Sexton Blake, and solves whatever crimes come his way, but his usual enemies are Yellow Perils, including native rebel leaders in India.
