Koravitch, Ivan. Ivan Koravitch was created by Victor L. Whitechurch (Thorpe Hazell, Godfrey Page) and appeared in twelve stories which were collected in The Adventures of Captain Ivan Koravitch (1925).

Ivan Koravitch is a soldier modeled on Brigadier Gerard. Koravitch is a Captain in the Imperial Russian Army in the years before the Communist Revolution. He is tall, upright, and soldierly-looking, with a waxed mustache and flashing dark eyes, and is lively and boastful. Koravitch was active in China, in Galicia during World War One, and then in Germany. He is a Russian patriot and leaves the country a step ahead of the Bolsheviks.
