Kid Buckaroo. Kid Buckaroo was created by “Tex Bradley,” a Street & Smith pseudonym used in this case by Houston Irvine (Lucius Carey, Pinto Martin, Red Wolf) , and appeared in ten stories in Top-Notch Magazine from 1931 to 1932, beginning with “Kid Buckaroo From Nowhere” (Top-Notch Magazine, June 1, 1931).

Kid Buckaroo is a wandering cowpuncher who roams the western frontier from Mexico to Canada, taking on temporary jobs and then moving on. He was handsome, once, but he now carries a bullet scar along the left side of his face. He rides Sunset, an intelligent sorrel.
