Whowes, King. King Whowes was created by the pseudonymous “King Whowes” and the Spanish creator Riera Rojas (Black Rider) and appeared in the comic strip “La Ciudad Aérea” (Pocholo, 1935-1936?).

In the year 1985 King Whowes is a Spanish aviator and inventor who has created a new form of propulsion. He uses this to invent a flying platform the size of an airfield, on which he lives and works with his staff and fellow aviators. Unfortunately, Whowes’ new propulsion system threatens the airplane monopoly, and they take action against him. Violence follows, as does the rescuing of beautiful princesses, mid-air combat between technologically advanced planes, etc.
