Wang, Mr. (II). Mr. Wang (II) was created by the Chinese creator Ye Qianyu and appeared in the comic strip “Wang xiansheng” (Shanghai Manhua, 1927-1945?) and eleven films from 1934-1940. 

Mr. Wang (II) is a character modeled partially on Ally Sloper and partially on David Low’s Colonel Blimp. Wang is a greedy, coarse philistine who has adventures around a China full of warlords and Japanese spies.
