Race, Colonel. Colonel Race was created by Agatha Christie (Superintendent Battle, Tommy & Tuppence Beresford, Jane Marple, Hercule Poirot, Parker Pyne, Harley Quin, Solving Six) and appeared in four novels from 1924 to 1945, beginning with The Man in the Brown Suit.
Colonel Race is ex-Army and currently works for British Intelligence. He occasionally helps Hercule Poirot when not solving crimes on his own. He is patient and observant.
