Parsons, Detective Inspector. Detective Inspector Parsons was created by “April McKee-Wright,” the pseudonym of the Australian author April Hersey, and appeared in Murder in the Markets (1944) and Stop Press: Murder! (1944).
Detective-Inspector Parsons is an Australian policeman in Sydney investigating murders involving newspapers and journalists. He is assisted by the grinning idiot Sergeant Gregg.
