Kilby, Detective-Inspector. Detective-Inspector Kilby was created by J.C. Lenehan (Charlie Ryan) and appeared in The Tunnel Mystery (1929), The Silecroft Case (1931), and The Mansfield Mystery (1932).
Detective-Inspector Kilby works for Scotland Yard. He is a “tall military-looking man with a clipped mustache” who solves crimes with an intelligent, forthright, no-nonsense manner.
