Forestier, Desiree. Desiree Forestier was created by Alexander Faust and appeared in “Desert Double-Cross” (Scarlet Adventuress, Nov. 1936) and “Lottery Love” (Modern Adventuress, Mar 1937). Desiree Forestier is a Femme Fatale and an adventuress. She is out to make money in whatever way she can, as when, in Cairo, she tries to make a fortune from stolen gems. But sometimes her principles get the better of her, as when, in Berlin, she puts an end to a lottery for wealthy men in which the winners get women.
