Web. John Raymond, a professor of criminology, wants to understand why criminals are the way they are (and why his brother turned to crime), and begins fighting them as the costumed Web. He has no powers. He appears in stories with titles like “The Black Dragon of Death,” “The Merchant of Hate,” and “Uglyman’s Ugliest Plot.”
