Phantom Falcon (III). “Chet Horne - by day an inconspicuous file clerk. By night - the daring Phantom Falcon, scourge of the underworld!” Horne works in the police commissioner’s office as a way to get tips and information on threats to civilians and the city. (Other policemen think of him as a “runny-nosed punk” who “didn’t have what it takes to be a cop”). The Falcon flies a special jet. He fights ordinary criminals, racketeers, air pirates, Soviet spies, and the hatchet-wielding femme fatale Frisco Sal.
