Magno (I). Magno the Magnetic Man is a superhero pretending to be an idle playboy, although his secret identity seems to be widely known and everybody calls him "Magno." He works for the government, fighting crime and the enemies of America, and is willing to torture his enemies to get them to talk. Magno’s sidekick is Davey. Magno and Davey take on a variety of foes: human-sacrificing Aztec cultists, the four-armed, fanged Yellow Peril Professor Octopus, and Magno’s recurring foe, the Clown, who works out of a traveling circus and uses hyper-intelligent trained rats to carry out his crimes. Magno has magnetic powers, including flight, invulnerability, the power to control and generate magnetic attraction, and the ability to physically draw Davey to Magno across long distances. He appears in stories with titles like “On a Bicycle Built for Death,” “The Case of the Woman Who Couldn’t Die,” and “Men into Monsters.”
