Deacon. The Deacon wears a deacon's uniform and with the help of his sidekick Mickey fights crime. The Deacon used to be a criminal but wised up, reformed, and began a war on crime to make up for his past misdeeds, based out of the Marshland Church. There are voodoo houngan to be fought, Mad Scientists, German agents, Rasputin Jr., Mr. Death, and ordinary gangsters. The Deacon appears in stories with titles like “The Dolls of Death,” “The Man Who Could Work Miracles,” and “The Sinister Seance of Doom.”
