Nolan, John. John Nolan was created by Charles Nicolai and appeared in Killer is Loose (1943), Death at Chestnut Hill (1955), and Murder in the Fine Arts (1964).
John Nolan is a public relations man with a severe case of wanderlust, what he calls “itching foot.” He takes jobs at p.r. firms in Boston, New York, and San Francisco. But wherever he goes, murder engulfs him and his beautiful English wife, Prudence, and they are forced to solve it. He is a light-hearted drinker and book collector, with over 2000 books in his library.
