Martin, Dan. Dan Martin was created by the pseudonymous “Roland Johnson” (Motor Cracksman) and appeared in ten stories in Flynn’s Weekly in 1926, beginning with “The Full Moon Murder” (Flynn’s Weekly, July 10, 1926).

Dan Martin is an investigator employed by the English Southland Aircraft Company. Martin is good enough at his job that he has the freedom to work whichever cases he wants. Martin is clever and experienced at investigations. He is a small, precise man with a penchant for whittling and a knack for keeping trophies from his cases.
