Wilson, Whiz. “In his workshop Whiz Wilson, young scientist, has perfected the ‘Futuroscope,’ with which he can harness gravity, space, and time.” He uses the Futuroscope to project himself into the future–1960, 2040, 3000, etc–and solve matters in freedom and democracy’s favor: preventing an air invasion by laying underseas cable and turning on the Aero-Ray defense, flying a flaming torch and scaring off barbarian hordes, traveling to other planets, and so on. With the Futuroscope he can teleport and fly as well as travel into the future.
