Voodoo Man. Bob Warren, square jawed American young doctor, goes to Haiti to set up his medical practice and to investigate voodoo. Bob ends up tangling with the Voodoo Man, a racist stereotype and evil houngan, when the Voodoo Man tries to turn the body of the brother of one of Bob’s native servants into a zombie. Bob wins the first round, but the Voodoo Man escapes and attempts to avenge himself on Bob and Lana, a beautiful woman Bob freed from the Voodoo Man’s control, with the help of zombies and black magic. The Voodoo Man appears in stories with titles like “The Rites of Lucifer,” “Boanga’s Zombie Corps,” and “Zombie Doll.”
