Dawson, Tim. Tim Dawson is a two-fisted thrill-seeking soldier fortune active in Southeast Asia. He accompanies an expedition to an Indonesian island (and deals with an exploding volcano), he attacks “Mist Men” (white men posing as ghosts) on a Malaysian island (on which the natives cry “Tekelili! Tekelili!”), and he leads an expedition into the Gobi desert and finds a time-preserved Japanese invasion force and a royal Mongol caravan.
