Harrigan, Hurricane. “Hank Harrigan, born and raised in the Texas panhandle, becomes bored with what he calls his humdrum existence. An avid reader of Kipling’s works, he saves his money and finally goes to India,” where he has typical colonialist adventures. He is helped by a spunky native boy, Sikh Abu, who Harrigan calls “Skeebo.” Hurricane Harrigan appears in stories with titles like “Captured by the Sikhs,” “The Khyber Terror,” and “The Caravan of Carnage.”
