Firebrand (I). Rod Reilly is bored with his playboy lifestyle and decides to become a crime fighter. He is assisted by Slugger Dunn, his ex-prize-fighter valet. Firebrand has no superpowers but is a skilled fighter and is good with a lariat. He also has vacuum cups for climbing buildings. The criminals he fights are ordinary. He appears in stories with titles like “The Revolt of General Muerte,” “Herr Strasse’s Sea Island Spy Ring,” and “Dr. Kruger’s Hospital Horror.”
