The Eye. "I am the Eye! The Eye! - to whom time and distance are nothing - who bares man's thoughts and pierces his conscience! The Eye's powers are limitless - his vengeance terrible!" “The Eye! – Symbol of the haunting voice of Man’s inner conscience. Time or distance means nothing to the Eye, as he wreaks his terrible vengeance in all four corners of the world!!” The Eye is a giant, flying eyeball which shoots rays from its pupil and hunts down criminals. He is assisted by ordinary human Jack Barrister, who the Eye advises on which criminals to pursue and who acts as the Eye’s legman. The Eye knows and sees all, but it needs a human to solve the crimes and occasionally carry out an execution, and that’s what Barrister does.
