Calico Kid. On the western frontier of California in the 1860s, the “Calico Kid” is a meek, despised wimp who sells cloth. His alternate identity, which no one ever guesses thanks to the Kid’s glasses and dour attire, is Rex Fury, a brightly-clothed crime-fighting vigilante. Later the Kid becomes the “Ghost Rider,” assisted by a Chinese man, Sing Song, whose life Fury saved.
