Black Cobra. Jim Hornsby is the oldest son of District Attorney Hornsby. Dad doesn’t think much of Jim, or of younger son Bob, but Dad doesn’t know that Jim is the costumed crime-fighter the Black Cobra, and Bob is the Cobra Kid. The Black Cobra has no powers, but is a good crime-solver and has and uses pistols when need be. He appears in stories with titles like "Death Declares a Dividend," "Scourge of Evil," and "Mummy's Mummy."
