Yellow Ghost. The Yellow Ghost appeared in fourteen stories in Adventure (U.K.) in 1943, beginning with “The Meeting of the Spies!” (Adventure (U.K.), May 22, 1943).

The Yellow Ghost is a Yellow Peril. He is a Japanese spy active in San Francisco spying for the Axis powers during World War Two. He looks down on the Germans and is confident that after the Allies are defeated Germany will follow them. He wears a “cloak dyed with such an intense black that no light at all is reflected to the eye,” rendering him invisible. He uses this to his advantage in spying and murder.
