X, Dr. Dr. X was created by the Mexican author Oscar Bermudez Girat and appeared in “Dr. X, el psico-criminalista” (Pepin, Sept. 27, 1945-June 25, 1953).

Dr. X is a Superhuman. Dr. X is a wise old man with a fierce mustache and monocle. He is a professor at an English university who tells his students about the criminal cases he has solved. He is a psychic, a telepath, and a master hypnotist, which makes solving in the most complicated crimes simple for Dr. X. He has a great, singular project, however: to travel back in time to his youth, to rescue his great love, who died during the Mexican Revolution. Dr. X is active against ordinary criminals and against fascists during World War Two.
