Wolf Detective. The Wolf Detective was created by “Ubald Tartaruga,” the pseudonym of the Austrian author Edmund Otto Ehrenfreud, and appeared in the Hungarian dime novel Farkas Detective #1-3+ (1917).

The Wolf Detective is a Superhuman Great Detective active in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He is known as the “Wolf Detective” because of his ferocity and because of the power of his sense of smell.
