Winter, Nick. Nick Winter was created by the French creator Paul Garbagni and appeared in at least nineteen films from 1911 to 1921, beginning with Nick Winter et le Pickpocket Mystifié; he also appeared in the Spanish pulp Nick Winter. Memorias del Famoso Detective Ingles #1-13 (1912?) and the Turkish pulp Nick Vinter Serisi #1-2 (1918).
Nick Winter is a Great Detective modeled on Nick Carter (I). Among others, he takes on female jewel thieves. Winter is a master of disguise.
Winter appears in stories with titles like “The Drama in King Street” and “The Ripper of Sauntly,” a reprise of the Jack the Ripper murders.
