Wildcat (II). Wildcat (II) was created by the Indian author Nandlal Jaswantlal and appeared in the film Bambai Ki Billi (1936).
In modern Bombay the upper class is tormented by the uncatchable, mysterious criminal known only as the Wildcat. Crack policeman Inspector Suresh is put on the job. While trying to catch the Wildcat Suresh falls in love with Usha, a medical student. Usha turns out to be the Wildcat, in disguise, and after various plot complications, including the defeat of crime lord Pratap, Wildcat discovers her origin—she is the daughter of a judge and was kidnapped as a child in order to blackmail the judge—is reunited with her father and retires to live happily ever after with Suresh.
