Wiggles. Wiggles was created by Herbert Crowley and appeared in the comic strip “The Wiggle Much” (New York Herald Tribune, 1910).

Wiggles is a round, hunched, animal-like thing with big eyes. He is intelligent, brave, and kind, and thanks to his magical powers can transfix anything it encounters. He travels through various fairy tale kingdoms, encountering wizards, knights, demons and lawyers. Wiggles is hunted by the mischievous Ding Dong Bird.
