Wen Suchen. Wen Suchen was created by the Chinese author Lu Shi’e and appeared in Xin Ye Sou Pu Yan (1909).

In the future Europe is a Chinese colony. But a group of White Peril European “restorationists” plan to rebel and gain independence. The Emperor orders Wen Suchen, the general in charge of the European colonies, to suppress the rebellion. Wen leads his armada of flying warships in a lightning conquest of the seventy-two nations of Europe. Wen then takes his ships to the moon and Jupiter. Jupiter is found to be full of animals and plants but is also covered with gold. China establishes a colony on Jupiter, with Wen as its governor, and the solar system becomes full of colony and messenger ships.
