Watt, Robert. Robert Watt was created by the pseudonymous “Jack MaCarter” and appeared in the German dime novel Robert Watt, Ku Klux Klan Klubben #1-11 (1943).
Robert Watt is a policeman in America’s South who fights against the evil of the Ku Klux Klan. Watt discovers that the KKK is a global terrorist conspiracy with ties to Yellow Peril Tongs, among others, and Watt is forced to fight the Klan in Scottish castles and on-board stolen zeppelins, among other locales.
Watt appears in stories with titles like “The Missing Expedition,” “A Shot in the Night,” and “The Face Behind the Pane of Glass.”
