Ware, Drexel. Drexel Ware was created by Charlton Andrews and appeared in The Affair of the Malacca Stick (1936) and The Affair of the Syrian Dagger (1937).

Drexel Ware is “the most celebrated of Britain’s amateur detectives.” He is “tall, slender, thirty-odd, with yellowish hair and...wide open blue eyes and generally clear-cut features.” He’s of the upper classes and usually drawls, although he speaks normally in tense situations.
