Wackermann, Ernst & Georg. Ernst & Georg Wackermann were created by the German author Gottfried Kern and appeared in Von Deutscher Treue #1-130 (1912-1914).

Ernst & Georg Wackermann are a pair of German immigrants active on the American frontier during the years of the American Revolution and in every major battle of the American Revolution. They help George Washington and the Americans against the British, from New Orleans to the western frontier. The Wackermanns fight evil natives and Anglos, they fight British spies, they fight pirates, they capture Spanish treasure ships, and they capture motley villains like "the Wizard of the French River."

The Wackermanns appear in stories like "The Fight in the Waterfall," "The Dead Canyon of Chesapeake Bay," and "At War with the Red Rebels."
