Verbitskaïa, Madame. Anastasia Alexeyevna Verbitskaïa (1861-1928) was a Russian author who became notorious for the sexual explicitness of her novels. In 1913 she appeared in the Russian Celebrity Pulp The Amorous Adventures of Madame Verbitskaïa #1-?, written by “Count Amory,” the pseudonym of Hippolyte Pavlovitch Rapgof.

The fictional Madame Verbitskaïa is a Russian Femme Fatale.
