Trelawny, Edward. Edward Trelawny was created by Amelia Reynolds Long (Steve Carter, Patrick Laing, Katherine Piper) and appeared in six novels from 1939 to 1945, beginning with The Shakespeare Murders.

Edward Trelawny is, in his own words, “a criminal psychologist, connected, in a sort of semi-official way, with the district attorney’s office.” He solves crimes in academic settings.
