Tigris (II). Tigris (II) was created by the French author Marcel Allain (Commissaire Boulard, David Dare, Fantômas, Fatalà, Férocias, Mareuil, Miss Téria) and appeared in Tigris #1-26 (1928-1930); the first five issues were reprinted in Germany in 1929.

Tigris (II) is a master thief modeled on Fantômas. He is a master of disguise who bedevils police inspector Rude, especially because both Tigris and Rude’s son Leon are in love with the same women. Tigris (II) appears in stories with titles like “The Red Audience,” “The Third Skeleton,” and “The Midnight Gravedigger.”
