Thet-pyìn. Thet-pyìn was created by the Burmese author Dagon Shwe Myar and appeared in dozens of stories in Thuríyá from 1934 to at least 1941.

Thet-pyìn is a patriotic Burmese Robin Hood who steals from rich colonists and foreigners and gives the stolen wealth to the poor. One typical story involves Thet-pyìn targeting British who were taking Burmese jewels out of the country.
