Tarmun, Fred. Fred Tarmun was created by the German author Olaf Nesie and appeared in Fred Tarmun–Aus Eigener Kraft Um Die Erde #1-100 (1928-1929).
Fred Tarmun is world-traveling adventurer. He finds the “underwater dungeon,” fights evil on the caravan road to the Taj Mahal, fights Chinese pirates, the Yellow Peril “Tea King of Peking,” an evil Japanese aviator, “the God with the Golden Horn,” the Man With No Name, the King of the Smugglers, the Spider, the werewolf of Kamchatka, pirates on the Mississippi, the Evil Surgeon Dr. Mepier, and the Femme Fatale Lady Heensforth.
Tarmun appears in stories with titles like “Cairo Ace,” “The Red Witch,” and “The King of the Smugglers.”
