Stuart, Scott. Scott Stuart was created by “Geoffrey Coffin,” the pseudonym of Francis Van Wyck Mason (Hugh North, Yank & ‘Ector), and appeared in Murder in the Senate (1935) and Forgotten Fleet Mystery (1936).

Scott Stuart is an agent of the Department of Justice who investigates and solves murders in and around Washington. His first case involves a murdered Senator, and his second case involves a formula for turning water into gasoline which is sought after by Japanese agents.
