Standish, Ronald. Ronald Standish was created by “Sapper,” the pseudonym of Herman Cyril McNeile (Bulldog Drummond, Jim Maitland), and appeared in six novels and short story collections from 1930 to 1937, beginning with Tiny Carteret.
Ronald Standish is a wealthy, handsome amateur detective who takes the cases that appeal to him and does well in solving them. He is on good terms with the police, who he often helps.
