Sovac, Dr. Dr. Sovac was created by Curt Siodmak (Bernard Adrian, Richard Donovan, Lennartz, Larry Talbot) and Eric Taylor and appeared in the film Black Friday (1940).

Dr. Sovac is an Evil Surgeon. He meant well. Sovac’s friend Professor Kingsley is critically injured, so Sovac transplants part of a gangster’s brain into Kingsley’s, saving Kingsley. But Kingsley begins to become more like the gangster, and when Sovac discovers that the gangster had a lot of money hidden away, Sovac tries to find out where it was, leading to the gangster side of Kingsley taking control. It all ends badly.
